Our world is becoming darker and darker just as Jesus said it would. I’ve come across people in the last few weeks who are becoming more and more discouraged. As salt and light, we are to encourage one another. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Heb 10:23-25)
Bible prophesy tells us that before Jesus returns as the conquering king, life will become very dark which will culminate in the Great Tribulation. And when He returns, “every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil 2:10-11). When He returns, it will be too late for those who have chosen not to call on Him for salvation. We need to get busy telling people about Jesus now, while they still have today.
Is your burden weighing heavy?
Is it all too much to carry?
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
Do you feel that empty feeling?
‘Cause shame’s done all its stealing
And you’re desperate for some healing
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
Rises up from an empty grave
Ain’t no sinner that he can’t save
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
His love is strong and his grace is free
And the good news is I know that he
Can do for you what he’s done for me
Let me tell you ’bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your life
Hallelujah, amen, amen
