We never truly know anyone else’s full story. But as we were all born into a sinful world, I know that we “have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”. I know this is the truth because this is stated in God’s Word. My sins have been many and some seem much greater than we believe we deserve grace. Here’s the thing — none of us deserve grace. But the Lord gives it to us generously anyway–not based on what we deserve, but because of His great love for us.

After all, He created us in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). Our Creator God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for our sins (John 3:16).  God’s work of restoring the image starts in the heart, with inward illumination, our embrace of Christ, and motivational change at the core of our being (2 Cor. 4:6, 5:17). We are not an after thought. “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” (Eph. 2:10)

I say all of this today because I need to remind myself (and maybe you) that we are priceless to our Lord (Isaiah 43:4). So whatever you have done, whatever you have thought, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your sins have been washed clean as snow. And since we are precious to our Lord, let’s allow His light to shine through us (Matthew 5:16).

The song I’m posting below helps me remember that I am now white as snow and priceless to our Lord. I hope you enjoy it!
